How credits work (and why it's fair)

Short version: one credit = one AI action, and there are only three you ever pay for. A credit is not tokens, not minutes, and not a hidden meter. You always know the price before you click.

What each action costs:

• Process an inquiry — 5 credits (one button: it reads the conversation, understands the lead, and drafts your reply — all in one)

• Generate a draft email in your inbox — 2 credits

• Ask Nerve a question — 1 credit per message

• Your morning / CEO brief — free (it's on us, every day)

Length never changes the price. A one-line question and a long, detailed one both cost 1 credit, because both are one AI request. You are never billed by word count or message length — so you never have to think about how much to type.

Browsing is free. Opening your inbox, filtering, reading inquiries, navigating, and looking at your numbers cost zero credits. You only spend a credit when AI actually runs.

Why this is honest, not a gimmick. Behind the scenes we pay an AI provider (Anthropic) for every action, and we track that real cost to the cent. Your credits are backed by real compute budget we set aside for you — a heavier action (like drafting an email) costs more credits precisely because it costs us more to run. We simply shield you from raw token math and give you round, predictable prices instead.

You can never overpay, and we can never quietly burn your money. Every action's real cost is comfortably less than the budget each credit is backed by, so your credits always run out before our real cost reaches what you funded. The math is fixed and checked in code — not a promise, a guarantee.

Top-up example: a 1,000-credit top-up is 200 inquiry Processes, or 500 drafted emails, or 1,000 questions to Nerve — or any mix. For a typical studio that's weeks of everyday use. A few clicks a day barely moves the balance.

Running low is gentle. At 80% used we give you a heads-up. At 100% the paid AI actions pause until you top up — and your data, inbox, and history are always safe and fully readable. Nothing is ever deleted or locked because of credits.

No surprises, ever. We never auto-charge you to keep an action running, never bill by tokens, and never change a price mid-action. If we ever adjust per-action pricing, it's announced up front and applies only to new actions.
